ABOUT ME

Dance will always be with me no matter if im doing it as a carreer or not.. I find that movement is important and ancient.. Hiphop is the form I most resonate with. For over 15 years. I have danced in many competitive timelines and have learned from 50 plus dancers worldwide.
I have discovered what my dance means to me and how to bridge that meaning to the humans ready to dive into their first dance class or to dive deep into the emotional and ritualistic vibes that deepen our connection to our movement practice.
Join me in exploring what dance might mean to you. Maybe it's for prayer or a way to transform energy, or perhaps you just wanna boogie. I bridge the gap between spirituality and Hip Hop.

DRIVE
have always been driven to perform. Growing up, I was always musical, banging a beat on pots and pans or dancing crazily to wild songs for my family. Into school where I did school plays and concerts, playing leads and receiving positive feedback. Sometime in grade 4, I began to learn Irish step dance and quickly found my rhythm. Then when I saw hip-hop and b-boying, I was deeply captivated. I love the way freestyle dance can build a deeper relationship with oneself. The music becomes a part of it. I was, and still am, driven to deepen my relationship with music. I'm driven by the depth of these dance styles and the potential they can become.
IDEALS
Ideally, I see all men learning to dance, and it becoming normalized in our culture. I have developed a dance course that brings the forest into our dance. I believe in anyone's ability to become a dancer. I push for students to train every day, focusing on the foundations. I believe putting ourselves in front of an audience is the fastest route to growth. Thats why I reccomend to all my students to post a clip of themselves dancing each week.. But no pressure.. Its also about opening the hips and finding peace in the self care with the simple movement.
